Dan Hendley Digital is based in Guelph, Ontario, Canada and offers cleaning, digitization, and enhancement services for many formats. I offer digitization services for VHS, VHS-C, S-VHS, Video8, Hi8, Digital8, MiniDV, 8mm, Super 8, DVD, and Mini DVD formats. I know how important home movies can be. They give us a look back at moments we don't want to lose. That’s why I don’t rush the process and cut corners. Each order is handled with care, so these memories are properly preserved. I also offer services that go beyond a simple transfer, including cleaning of old media as well as enhancement through carefully applied post-processing techniques. I capture the video using high quality, well maintained equipment. This creates a digital copy that often looks good but still leaves some room for improvement. For most formats I offer post-processing services. My goal is to improve the quality with a series of subtle adjustments without going too far and losing important detail. This often makes a noticeable difference for both picture and sound quality compared to a more straightforward transfer. Post-processing is included for all 8mm/Super 8 film transfers, and available via Standard and Premium tiers for tape formats.
